Pre-Workout Protein Coffee
Hot or cold--your choice!
We don't typically advocate supplementing protein powder when you're overall better off with the nutritional benefits of meat, but personally I'd rather drink a tasty coffee like this before hitting the gym than eat a piece of meat because a good Whey Protein Isolate sits better in the stomach. Add your Celtic Sea Salt and you're hydrated and got all your potassium and sodium so you're strong, energized, and ready to lift!
Mix in a shaker bottle:
- Macadamia nut milk, 4oz (Omega 3's)
- Onnit MCT oil, 1/2 Tbsp (heavy cream will also work)
- Metabolic Nutrition Whey Protein Isolate, Peanut Butter Cookie flavor (or flavor of your choice)
- Cinnamon, to taste (natural fat burner & appetite suppressant)
- Celtic Sea Salt, 1 tsp (electrolytes)
- OPTIONAL: Pumpkin-spice sugar free coffee sweetener
Shake it up hard, pour it into a glass, and fill with coffee.
